Stokes, 29 yoa DETAILS: On the above date and time, Corporal Robert Fleming was conducting a selective enforcement for DWI under the “Over the Limit, under arrest” grant, when he observed a 2007 Dodge Charger pull out of the Town Center shopping center onto Schalks Crossing Road without its headlights on. The Dodge then sped north on Schalks Crossing Road. Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop, the operator, Stokes, was found to be DWI. Stokes was arrested and transported to Plainsboro Police HQ’s for processing. She confronted him and he ran behind the house next door. She provided the arriving officers with a detailed description of the suspect.Evidence located at the house next door revealed that the suspect attempted to force entry into that house as well. Upon arrival, investigation determined that three separate vehicles had been burglarized in the driveway of the residence without forced entries to their interior. The victims in this incident reported several items were stolen from the vehicles, including electronic equipment and tools. The total estimated value of the thefts was approximately $1000.00.
